Most of my skincare products are made by Philosophy and one of my favorites is the Microdelivery Peel. This product truly makes your skin feel refreshed and smoother.

It contains Vitamin C that is "delivered" into the skin as you use it. The vitamin C is an antioxidant that provides anti-aging benefits. Now, I'm not a chemist so I can't say whether this claim is true or not. All I know is that this product works for me.

To use this product, you have to first cleanse your skin (I use Philosophy's Purity Made Simple) and dry your skin well. Then, you take the vitamin C crystals (about a teaspoon full) and apply to your skin in a massaging motion. This acton forms a mask of sorts on your skin. Next, you apply the activator gel. The gel and vitamin C crystals combine to create a warming sensation and a foaming reaction. You leave the foam mask on for one to three minutes and rinse off. Voila! Refreshed skin!

The product also contains some salicylic acid to help prevent breakouts and peptides which help firm up the skin. I do have to use other product for breakouts so I don't use the product for this benefit although it might work for people that don't break out very often. The firming benefit is very nice, however.

I only use this product every few weeks or whenever my skin starts looking tired. You can use it several times a week I believe, but it's just to expensive for me to do that and I really don't need to use it that often. It can be purchased from many different websites and storefronts like Sephora and Nordstroms.

If you are looking for a good in-home peel I highly recommend this product. While more expensive than others, it's still cheaper than a spa visit!
