With Resident Evil 2, Capcom went all out with zombie goodness. Making it a two disc game, you could choose between the adventures of Leon Kennedy, a young rookie cop just starting out at Raccoon City, or Claire Redfield, the sister of Chris from the first game. You travel through the streets of Raccoon City fighting off the legions of undead caused by the outbreak at the mansion. You work your way through the police station, and meet other survivors from the outbreak, like Ada Wong, a mysterious woman, and sherry berkin, daughter of a scientist. You can't help but get involved in this character development. I personally felt drawn to the Leon character. The detail levels in this game went way up from the first, and the game is longer too. You get more of a backstory as to why the outbreak happened, and its a must play for anyone in the zombie genre. I personally had a great time with this game. After playing through the first storyline, the second is just as intense and scary. If I had my way, I would personally remake this one before any other. In fact, I can say this is my favorite RE game. REcommended highly.
