Well, let me first start out with that I do love this dvd for a few reasons. One reason, is that it has both the first and second movies in the Resident Evil trilogy on disc one, which I both love. It also has some fairly attractive graphic design for the case, which in those two aspects are great for any Resident Evil fan/ collector. It does include the special features on disc two, however it ranked very low on my extras ratings and I'll tell you why. Even though most of the special features were good, they really lacked quite a bit and I was a bit dissapointed.

For instance, A added feature titled "The Evolution of Resident Evil: Bridge to Extinction" I expected to maybe add to the storyline a wee bit and build a "bridge" between the second movie Apocalypse, and the then upcoming 3rd movie, Extinction. I think it was kind of misleading and would have made it worthy of the "Ressurected Edition" status and highly collectable if they had included that extra, but no such luck. Just a recap of the first and faintly skimming over the second films, with emphasis on a teaser portion for Extinction. Also the "Exclusive Sneak Scene from Resident Evil Extinction" was listed among the special features on the back of the case, which I expected to be in the special features disc, and wasn't. They put it on disc one with the double feature. There was a fun feature though on disc two, a memory retention training quiz game where you watch clips and answer questions about the scene.

Over all though they are fantastic movies and the features are good, but it could have been put togther a little better. So unless you are a fan like me and just want it as part of your collection, I suggest going out and getting the movies as seperate dvds as special or limited editions so you can get the most out of it.
