Honestly I did not care much for GTA III and quit after completing half the game. And I didn't give much thought about it anymore until I surprisingly got GTA: Liberty City Stories for Valentines Day. Although I gave up on GTA3, I thought why not give this new one a chance.

Liberty City Stories goes five years back with a back-story of a new character Tony Cipriani. Unlike the original main character Cipriani actually talked which was one of the new additions in the game--the graphics were an improvement as well as the targeting and motorcycling (which I fell off easily too many times in GTA#).

The game setting is the same, the ability to move around the city as much as you please, same amount of storyline missions, side missions. One thing I did notice were a couple of real life songs on the radio station, on the GTA3 many f the music was made up.

I'd enjoyed this game much better as I felt the missions were much easier to complete and found it funny that Cipriani has one tough mama he'd work for in one of the missions.

I really liked Liberty City Stories and would definitely play it again.
