Alright so I am the proud owner of the LG B2050 phone, now this cellular is special, it costs you only Rs. 2500, so thats around say.. $60. The reason I bought it was that I was sick and tired of the huge bills that kept coming through for the dialup Internet I used at that time, so I went with a GPRS plan, and I needed a phone that had GPRS on it, hence why I bought this thing.

Now this phone has Text Messaging, Call Records, Non-MP3 Ringtones (comes with a software to convert MP3 to its format), Alarm Clock, a handy scheduler feature, support for certain Java applications, a GOOD voice recorder, Unit converter, an inbuilt Internet browser and of course the Phonebook.

So pretty much your normal phone, following are its ups and downs:

Ups:

- GPRS support

- Nice inbuilt browser

- Handy

- Pretty much hardy (as in not delicate)

Downs:

- Small message storage

- Can't listen to songs

- Can't view pictures/take them

- No memory card feature

So I'd say.. for the $60, this is a pretty good phone, but don't expect too much out of it.
