When it comes to summer I am in sandals 24/7. I have a hard time finding one's that I like and at the same time be comfortable. I can't wear flip flops, that strap between my toes drives me crazy. I don't like a sandal with a strap around the back of my foot, too confining. I need something that will stay on my foot and that I don't walk right out of, been there, done that. I haven't found too many sandals that I immediately fall in love with and would buy without contemplating the cost.

Well, I finally found the greatest sandal by Rider called the Women's After Sport Relay III. I didn't find it in a store but at a women's expo held at Disney before the Princess Marathon at the beginning of March. I spotted them and thought they would be perfect and when I put them on they were like they were made for me. They are comfortable, have an ultrasoft insole, great arch support, and I felt like I was walking on air.

As you can see from the picture they are pink and black but they do come in other color combinations. They are a great slide sandal, not one with a few tiny straps. These are meant to be a great after sport shoe. When you are done running a marathon (that wouldn't be me) you need something to relax in. My runner daughter picked out the exact same pair when she saw me talking to the people at the booth and before she knew I had already bought these. Goes to show that young and old can look and feel great wearing these Riders.

I like that they are sporty looking but offer me the support and fit that I need. They are very lightweight, flexible, and have a great ventilation system that helps to keep my feet from sliding around yet comfortable and dry in hot weather. I put these on as soon as I get home from work and can't wait for the warm weather here in Michigan so I can wear them outside all summer.

I asked the salesman at the expo if these would be available in stores in Michigan and he said they were working with a few sporting goods companies for the near future. If you live in the Orlando area they are available at the Track Shack. Also, you can buy these and many of their other lines of sandals online at www.ridersandals.com. I found the sizing to be very true to size and this style is also available for men. When you purchase a pair of Rider sandals you can register them online and they will be guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. How many shoes can you buy that offer that?
