We bought the Tiger Electronics / Gibson PowerTour Guitar for our son this past Christmas, at first when he got it he was a little disappointed with it I believe. I think this was due mostly because of his age and the complexity of the device's use. After he had the Tiger Electronics / Gibson PowerTour Guitar for a little while we began to try it out more and more soon learning to play most of the built in songs, which in turn has increased his desire to play with it more and get better at it. one of the things I personally like about the Tiger Electronics / Gibson PowerTour Guitar is that every thing he learns on this guitar will basically transpose to a real guitar, which is one of my personal dreams is to one day be able to have my son play along with me. This is a very nice instrument, I hesitate to call it a toy because in my opinion it is far beyond a toy, it is a musical instrument in my eyes. It plays in four different modes ( Learn- learn built in songs, Play- freestyle, Band-plays with MP3 and Jam-freestyle with built in songs ). Over all I think we all have enjoyed the Tiger Electronics / Gibson PowerTour Guitar I would recommend it to anyone that wanted a guitar for a youngster or even just a beginner.
