I attended a Wellness Expo and recieved a pretty good size bag of Royal Canin dry dog food. I read about this dog food on my dogs veterinary's website as it was recommended to my by one of the vet techs, she said that her little poodle loves this food and is also a very picky eater just like my dog, but i didnt want to purchase a bag of it and have my dog turn her nose at it as she does all other dog foods. My dog is considered a senior, she is 12 years old, she is a Shiatzu, and she has a fairly small mouth, and delicate teeth, so if we try feeding her crunchy or hard kibble she wont touch it, or she will just drop it out of her mouth and try to cover it up.

So when i saw this at the Wellness Expo i was excited, a free sample to give to my dog!! I couldnt wait to get home to let her try it! I opened the bag and my dog stuck her nose in and started gobbling up the food before i could even pour it into her dish, she has never done this before with other food ive bought for her, i guess to her it must have smelled delicious!! She just couldnt get enough, she truly loves this stuff.

The size of the kibble is quite small, about the size of sunflower seeds, it says mini on the bag and is for small dogs up to 20 pounds. The info on the back of the bag says that it is easy to digest, includes supplemented DHA, for increased brain function. It contains all natural ingredients and is considered a holistic pet food, a few of the ingredients in this kibble are brewers yeast, salmon meal, anchovy oil, flax seed, B vitamins, vitamins A, D, E, and minerals like calcium, copper and zinc, it uses natural preservatives like vitamin E, and citric acid. This food does contain chicken meal, brown rice and corn.

This is one dog food my very fussy picky dog is more than willing to eat, and i plan on purchasing this product from my vet!
