I recently stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort, located at the Universal Orlando resort in Orlando, Florida. I had a wonderful stay there and would definitely go back again.

Royal Pacific is one of the three hotels that are on Universal Orlando property, and offer some great perks if you plan on going to their two theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. My favorite thing was using the Express Pass. What that means is all we had to do was show our room key as we entered a ride in the theme parks and we got to skip right to the front of the line. It was great and save a ton of time.

Getting to the theme parks was also incredibly easy. We didn't even have to use our car at all. You could either walk or take a free boat called a water taxi. I always chose the water taxi, since we did enough walking already in the theme parks.

The rooms in the hotel were very nice, clean and spacious. My room also had a great view of the Islands of Adventure theme park, so that was fun to wake up and see that. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Parking was not free at the hotel, which was something I didn't really care for. And while there were a few very nice sit down restaurants there, I noticed that there wasn't any kind of quick service place, which I would have used. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

I have a Universal Orlando annual pass so I got a room discount of $134 a night which was I thought was very reasonable. The rooms can go for a lot more than that, and I probably wouldn't want to pay more anyway.

Overall, the Royal Pacific Resort was great and I hope to go back there again someday!
