I got a 15 ml bottle of Ruby Rose Brilliant Nail Polish - or, as it is properly called, nail lacquer - as a gift. The person who gave it to me knows my tastes pretty well, so they chose a warm pink color (shade #3) that I immediately liked. In the bottle, the nail polish looks just a little bit darker than on nails. It requires at least two coats to achieve the full, even color with a light pearly shine. It dries fast, which is something I always note in a nail polish; no woman likes to be immobilized for too long waiting for her manicure to dry. Ruby Rose dries quickly, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, there is also a minus: this nail polish does not last long enough. My usual time for a good nail polish is one week; this one starts chipping on day 4-5. Even though it usually happens on one or two nails and the rest looks fine, I still have to re-do the whole manicure.
From what I understand, Ruby Rose is a popular brand of cosmetics in Europe also available but lesser known in the US and Canada. It has over 150 colors and shades of nail polish, and I will probably try some of them when I use up my gift bottle.
