When I was recently looking for nail polish I had a certain shade of pink in mind and was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. I found a lot of different pinks but none that were really right. I came across the Sally Hansen section and saw a couple of different types that were the shade that I was wanting then I noticed the No Chip 10 Day Color in their line and thought it was worth the extra money for that benefit since I don't have a lot of time to touch up my nails constantly. I bought it, got home and painted my nails right away. The bottle says to apply 2-3 coats, 2 thin coats gave me the desired color/coverage I was looking for. My nails had sufficient time to fully dry in between coats. The polish chipped in less than 24 hours. I was just at home, not doing anything out of the ordinary and it chipped. I've had cheaper polishes that made no claims last longer. I love the shade and would probably buy it again just for that reason but I dislike it when a product makes a claim and doesn't live up to it. I've done my nails about 5 more times since I bought it and it's never lasted more than a day or two before chipping, let alone 10. Had it not made the claim it would last 10 days without chipping I wouldn't be so disgruntled but to me if you make the claim and I spend my money because I believe what your product says the product should live up to it's name.
