I spent a lot of time tanning in tanning beds during the summer months these last couple of years,
I never thought too much about the damage it may cause my skin in the long run. But as my tan slowly began to fade last summer, I started noticing dark *freckles* appearing all over my arms and legs. Could this be "pre-mature" skin aging that I was warned about but never paid too much attention to? How could happen? It came without warning, almost overnight. "POOF" there they were...Dark ugly dots and spots covering my entire arms and legs.
I tried everything to "hide" them...sunless tanning lotion...all that did was make the "spots" a darker shade of orange. It actually made them stand out more.
Bronzing Gel had the same effect as the tanning lotion only this time the spots were a nice deep dark brown color. YUCK!
I thought I would just have to accept them and hide them with long pants and long sleeves. yes, even during the summer months.
Until shopping at Wal-Mart one day I saw a can of Sally Hansen's Air-Brush Legs Leg Make-up. I thought "what the heck, I've tried everything else, what's one more try?"
So I bought a can, tried it and it worked GREAT!, It has a nice smooth even coverage, it's also waterproof and won't rub off on clothes. I also apply it to my arms and use a skin lotion on top for added moisture.
After one use you can still see some of the *freckles*, but they are not quite as dark and noticable and I can even wear shorts again without feeling self concience.
