This Samurai figure is striking - he stands in an attack pose ready to swipe down with his sword which is held out in front of him. He's made from a granite like stone material and his sword, face and hat are made from stainless steel. He sits on a Cherry red square base that is nicely finished and polished.
With one knee slightly bent and the other leg behind him to keep his balance, he is the ultimate Samurai Warrior.
My son purchased this figure while in Wisconsin a few years ago and he paid a fair amount for it but for him, Samurai warriors are a strong part of his artistic passion and when he saw this fellow he just had to have him. On the flight home, this figure traveled with him, being held the entire time in his lap and never left his sight.
When I commented that I loved it, my son immediately told me he'd "share" him with me. Now he guards my little Geisha girl as she stands quietly near a small water fountain on a table in the sitting area of the living room in front of a group of windows, prepared to fight for her honor if need be.
