I currently use the Samsung SGH-A737 Orange slider phone which is about 4 months old now. I think it is a well-designed and full-featured multimedia cell phone. The phone itself is great but the camera quality is not the best, taking a picture is actually delayed by a couple milliseconds so the picture may look fuzzy if the object of the picture moved at all. The video record feature is actually good, I was able to record about 1 minute of my baby boy and the playback was excellent. This phone will record as much video as you have available memory (either internally or from an SD card). Probably the only real issue I have with the phone is the volume control. Even on the loudest setting, I can barely hear the person on the other end of the conversation if there is alot of noise around me. The ringer volume is amazing! It could actually be too loud at times but to me, that is better than not being able to hear it ring if you are somewhat away from the phone.

Phone design:

The A737 is a slider phone and as with most slider handsets, the A737 features a keypad that's completely flush. That means the keys aren't ideal for dialing by feel, so you'll need to pay attention when texting. On the upside, the individual buttons are large and backlit, while the top row of keys isn't squashed up against the bottom of the slider. Completing the exterior of the phone are a volume rocker and a microSD card slot on the left spine and a shortcut menu control and the headset/charger jack on the right spine. We're not fans of the combined port as it means you can use only one peripheral at a time. Also, you'll need to use Samsung's proprietary connection. The camera lens is on the rear face of the slider so you will need the phone open to take pictures.
