I've been collecting Santa Mickey figurines for probably the last 25 years. I buy them and receive them as gifts. Each trip to Disneyworld is not complete without adding at least one new piece.
I'm not particular to any one brand so my collection is varied. I've put up a few pictures of some of my favorite pieces.
My largest piece is one of the big figure Mickeys dressed as Santa, he stands 18" tall. The base is covered with sparkly snow, his beard is made of a sherpa material and his goody bag of real burlap. He's announcing his arrival by ringing his brass bell. I purchased this at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney.
The next Santa Mickey is actually a garden figure and measures 13" tall. This was a gift my daughter purchased from Disney shopping online.
The next couple of shots are from my curio cabinet. There is a WDCC figure and matching ornament of Mickey holding a Christmas present. There are mini snow globes, pewter pieces, a Clothtique family of Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy. I even found a Santa Mickey clock and a Ron Lee piece signed by the artist.
I look all over for my collection. Disneyworld, of course, online shopping, ebay, garage sales and collectible stores. I didn't come by all these overnight and sometimes the hunt for new unique and one of a kind pieces is almost as much fun as acquiring them. Yes, I am a Disney fanatic and proud of it!
