I am always on the look out for the latest and greatest in lotion. I need something that is going to treat any rough spots, moisture that lasts without being sticky and a fragrance that's pleasant without being overpowering. Being a nursing student I wash my hands an average of fifty times a day, so all of those things are essential. Now that you know what I look for, let me tell you a little about Satin Hands.

My mother introduced me to the product. It's a care system designed to pamper your hands. I have to admit, I was a little put off when she told me that it included four steps. Who has time for that? But she expained that you don't need to use the whole system daily and you can maintain the moisture and softness with the included lotion between treatments. She'd caught my interest and I gave it a shot.

First you coat your hands in the 'Extra Emollient Night Cream'. This is a thick pink cream that promises to moisturize and increase hydration in dry areas. To be honest, it feels a little gross on your hands.

Next, you layer on the 'Satin Hands & Body Buffing Cream'. This is a grainy rub that you smooth over the Emollient cream. This part feels good for me. I can work the buffer into any areas that are particularly rough to smooth things out.

By now your hands are a real mess but we still have to add one more layer before we can wash. The 'Satin Hands & Body Cleansing Gel' comes next. This is a gentle cleanser that you rub into your hands and then you rinse it all off in warm water. As the product is coming off already you can feel that your hands are so much smoother and softer. It's really amazing.

Once your hands are rinsed clean you dry them and apply the 'Satin Hands Hand Cream with Sunscreen'. This lotion is wonderful. It's light enough to use often but effective enough to use on dry skin. As an added benefit it has an SPF 4.

Satin Hands is a wonderful set. I have it for myself and use it once a week to maintain my 'hand makeover'. I have also given it as a gift to several of my friends.
