I have been doing business with HSBC Bank for nearly thirty years now and I am completely satisfied with all they have to offer. Having said that, I was tired of making out checks, addressing envelopes, paying for envelopes, and paying for postage all in order to get my bills paid. I decided to give their online bill paying a try and am I ever glad I decided to do so.
I was hesitant to try this feature out at first but it was very easy to do. The service is free to me as I have been a bank member for so long and I also have other things with the bank. In the past, I had a car loan with them and I currently have a checking account with an overdraft feature which is also free, and a major credit card. I have to pay for my checks but I do not pay any other fees and I do not have to keep a certain balance in my checking account.
The process of bill paying online is easy as all I had to do initially was to enter all the companies I do business with. Then for each one of them, I had to write in their address, phone number, and e-mail address. That is all you have to do to get started.
When I want to pay a bill all I have to do is log onto my bank site and go to pay bills. When there, all I have to do is click on a specific company and enter in the amount I want to pay them then click. I get to preview the address and amount of payment before I click to send. Once I know all is correct, I click and payment is sent.
I highly recommend this service to everyone who has bills to pay. You save so much on postage, envelopes, checks, and your time. The hassle of of having to write out many checks to pay bills is a thing of the past and you have no returned checks piling up when they are processed by the bank.If needed, you can make a copy of the bill paid right on the site.I cannot say enough about this feature, you need to try it out for yourself and see how easy it makes your life!
