Image for Scanning for Crafting

My husband originally purchased this scanner to load in boxes of negatives we have stored away and put all the pictures into CD format. We used the auto film loader for scanning in the negatives. After that job was complete, he scanned in well over 2500 pictures my father had in albums and boxes so we could distribute CD's of all the pictures to my brothers and sisters as my dad pased away earlier this year. I have to say this scanner held up through everything, although a little slow on the scanning it seemed to me, but I'm an impatient person. I now use it to scan in copies of cross stitch patterns for hard cover books so that I only have one page to handle rather than holding onto an entire heavy book. I can scan in very small pattern and enlarge them before printing to save on my eyesight!! The pictures from the scans are always clear and true to color so this scanner has been very good to us.
