One of my sisters introduced me to Wallflowers at Bath and Body Works a couple of years ago. They are a plug-in scent dispenser, with scent "bulbs" that come in an amazing array of fragrances, with new ones added every year. My only complaint was that my old Glade Plug-in had a nightlight, and the Wall Flowers didn't.
But then they came out with one that did! It doesn't have a lightbulb so that will never burn out. It goes on when the room goes dark. I have mine in a higher outlet, so that if I had a small child in the house, he or she wouldn't be able to reach it. It's not that I'm afraid of the dark, you understand; I'm just afraid of what might be in it. My hallway has no light and no place to put one, not even an outlet. The Wallflower in my dining room provides a dim glow to my hall that would otherwise be pitch black.
Although I have Wallflowers in every room, I only bought one with the night light. My favorite scent is Cinnamon and Clove Bud, although Clean Linen provides a nice fresh scent as well. I'm not fond of flowery scents, so I'm glad there are choices like these, Creamy Nutmeg, and Brown Sugar and Fig. There is truly a scent for everyone. The scent of a wallflower is not overwhelming; I notice it when I first step into my house (and it's so much nicer than the scent of wet dog!), and when I walk past one of them, but it's a gentle background scent. One bulb lasts about two months; they come in sets of two that sell for $12.50, but go on sale for $5 each (set, not bulb) about twice a year at Bath and Body Works. I watch for the sale and stock up then.
I recommend these to anyone who wants a light scent for their home, and doesn't want it to be overpowering or smell like an industrial cleanser! These are great products!
