I just finished my first book in the Bath and Body mystery series. The title is Scent to her Grave, and it is written by India Ink (aka Yasmine Galenorn). I enjoyed the book from beginning to end and will definitely read more from this series.
Venus Envy is a bath and body shop in Gull Harbor, Washington. Persia Vanderbilt works in the shop, mixing up scents and helping the customers. Her Aunt Florence is the owner. When Lydia Wang, who was just crowned beauty queen, is found dead in the store, Persia cannot figure out who was the killer, but she knows it isn't Trevor Wilson, who is the number one suspect. Trevor works in the shop and was recently dumped by Lydia. It doesn't help matters that he and Lydia had a fierce argument in the shop right before her murder, and the argument was witnessed by others. So Persia tries to clear Trevor's name and find out who the killer is. Could it be Trevor, or was it someone else? And why was Lydia killed? She wasn't a nice person, but she still didn't deserve to die.
This was a good book which I thoroughly enjoyed. There are also beauty and spa tips offered throughout the book, with recipes for mixing up different exotic scents. I know I will be eagerly searching out more books from this series.
