I am a sucker for teen magazines and I love this one! And in this review I will review all sections of the magazine.

Fashion: This is pretty good because the styles and pieces are unique. Seventeen recently (In the past 6 or 7 months) started basing fashions on what flatters someone's body type the most. There are currently six body types, cone, pear, apple, petite, hourglass, and tall. They also have a few pages in each issue for clothing and accessories. I find these to be quite nice, I found a pair of destroyed jeans this way. The clothes are affordable and most are buys you can get at your favorite store in the mall. Although I don't use most of their fashion pieces because I find them a bit odd, I found a few pieces I could purchase.

Beauty: Their beauty section is alright. Sometimes I feel because I'm african american I'm not able to use some of their ideas. Like sometimes, they have one black girl whose my shade and they don't list blusher. I don't like that because they should find a product I can use like everyone else. But they do have in some issues where they list step-by-step make-up for every skin tone and I find that to be pretty good. I bought one blusher and I didn't like it but it was my first product I tried from this magazine.

Health: I've never been too impressed by this section. I don't know if it was because I'm already into sports or was it because I didn't know how to get started. They contain work out moves by celebrity trainers; I guess this is to encourage more girls to use their routines. They also contain swag bags for workout clothes! I find this to be appealing but you have to win it. Seventeen contains tips on how to have a better diet with fruits and vegetables, but I've never tried any of their recipes . A few look appetizing.

Love life: I like this one. They have handsome guys, however before I didn't consider the guys to be all that good looking, but thay've gotten better. While the guys are cute they are not as good as Cosmopolitan. If you want cuteness read Seventeen. If you want hotness read Cosmo. They have love life advice which I find to be pretty useful like how to kiss, say I love you, what guys think of you, and how to look nice for guys. I thought their Body Jenner column was the best but it only lasted for two issues.

Your life: It typically interviews teenage girls about real-world problems like mass shootings, sexuality, and trauma. I find these to be particularly good and this is my favorite part of the magazine. Seventeen offers tips most of the time on how to deal with these situations. Like with teenage dating violence.

Celebrity interviews: They're ok. They start out a little shallow at first but then they get deeper. I think they're good because they give us a first-person insight. They are usually 2 pages long.
