I wanted to talk to you about the Sharp Microwave that I purchsed about a year ago. As you can see by the pictures it is silver which works really well in my kitchen because of all stainless steel appliances. It is very stylish and not to bulky. I really likes the way it looks that was part of my criteria for purchasing it.
It has several features on it that I really like. First, I am not much of a cook so the microwave itself is a good thing for me. I am usually in a hurry to get something on the table for dinner and with my busy life I usually tend to forget to pull something out of the freezer; well it has this function that defrost meats or whatever in a hurry without scalding it. I use this feature alot and it is very easy to set because in the back of the book it breaks down all the differant functions and exactly how to set them.
It also has a popcorn button most microwaves come with this button and I have never realy figured out the best way to pop popcorn with out burning it. In the book it list differant size bags of popcorn and the best setting but I have learned through trial and error that you just have to watch your popcorn.
A down fall I noticed is I was cooking some potatoes one time in it and it tells you how long ans stuff but after a long period of time cooking it shut off on me like it was over heating. Which I thought was alittel strange. I never did figure out just why it did that; but after the oven cooled off it would run again. to me the waste my time so I tend not to use it for big cooking projects like that.
I do think that this is a good investment for all those college students out there that have moved away for the first time. like I said it's stylish and compact enough that it wouldn't take up alot of space.
It has a typical year warranty but over all for the price and the looks I give it a thumbs up and would recommend this product.
