It never fails. My cat cries for more food almost immediately after I feed her. She mewls (The word meow and howl mixed together) loudly over and over again, right by her bowl, in such a sad way. I'd like to feed her as much as she'd like, but she is already on diet cat food since she tends to get overweight. In an attempt to try and tide her over until her next feeding, I bought these treats.
She loves how these taste. I bought two flavors at the store. One in "hearty beef flavor", the other in "seafood medley." I haven't used the fishy one yet. Right now she's enjoying the meat one. The packaging says to shake the bag and see if your cat runs over. I thought this was probably a gimmick and she wouldn't come, especially on the first try. It wasn't like I ever used the treats before. I didn't think she'd recognize the noise. I was wrong though. She excitedly raced into the room to see what the commotion was all about. Now whenever I pick up the bag, forget about shaking it, she is in my room, waiting for her little biscuit.
The bag I bought has a net wt. of 85 grams / 3 ounces. They are said to control tartar which we both appreciate. I care about her teeth! They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Each piece is under 2 calories. They are made with no artificial ingredients.
