All I can say, is that contrary to everything I've read about this paint, it's the worst exterior latex I've ever used. Period. I can only assume I got a bad can of it, because my experience with it is nothing but contradictory to everyone elses experience it seems. It flows on terribly, leaving deep grooves like on a record. You have to paint like greased spit, because it's literally drying a foot behind you. If you look two feet back and see you left an imperfection, forget about it, it's already too gummy and dry to correct. Never mind the fact that you can see every brush stroke. I tried everything from loading the brush more, to loading it less, to longer brush strokes, shorter brush strokes. It's just an application nightmare. At first I thought it was the new brushes I had bought, but I went thru two new Sherwin Williams brushes in less than ten minutes before realizing it was the paint. I had immediately stuck both brushes in water while I tried others, yet when I went back less than a half an hour later after giving up with this paint, the new brushes were ruined. I couldn't get the paint to wash out, and they had never been left dry.

I went back the next day to give the paint a fair try, but the application results and clean up trauma were a repeat of the first day. I'm not a professional painter, but I've painted three houses in my life, the one I'm working on now for the third time. I wouldn't use this paint on a dog house, and am going back to Sherwin Williams this afternoon to return all the unopened cans and see if I can get my money back on the brushes.
