Last Christmas we were visiting our daughter in Orlando and decided to take in a movie at Universal's City Walk. After the movie we were window shopping and my husband stepped into the Fossil store.
I have to tell you he has a fascination with watches and I always tell him he has more watches than I have shoes! Since we were going to the Champs Bowl to watch MSU play Boston College the next day he decided he should get a watch to show his school spirit.
We found a really great Fossil watch made of stainless steel which had a large "S" in the middle. It's actually like having two watches in one as the dial changes from the lit up green "S" to just a plain silver dial. You can set it to alternate or to stay on one color. My husband loves this watch and wears it all the time. It is waterproof and normally doesn't come off so this is good for the shower and when he's in the pool all summer. It also looks as new as the day we bought it.
Now for the not so good news. We have had to replace all the batteries in this watch twice already. The big green "S" was not lighting up!!! It was a disaster for my Spartan fan hubby even though the watch still worked fine. Fossil stores do this for free but it shouldn't happen to a watch that is less than 6 months old. The first time we took it in, the logo stopped working again the very next day. We just took it back in this week and the girl that changed the batteries told us if it happens again to bring in our receipt and she would give us a new one.
I would recommend this watch to any MSU fan. Perhaps we just got a dud and it could be we won't have any more problems. I'll keep you updated on it's performance.
Update On Jun 01, 2008: I forgot an entire paragraph I had written for this watch:
This is an analog watch which does not have numbers. There is an outside bezel inscribed with 10 minute increments and an inner bezel inscribed with the hours 12, 3 6 and 9. There is no date function which was fine with my husband as he thought that would take away from the clean look of the green "S" on the silver colored background.
