I am reviewing The Sims 2 Open For Business Expansion Pack, one of my favorite expansion packs to date. The Sims 2 PC game is required in order to play Open For Business. Another highly addictive addition to the popular Sims 2 video game, Open For Business allows your Sims to set up their own businesses. Over 125 new items in this pack. Open for Business comes with some businesses pre-built and ready to set up. It can be quite confusing at first, but once you figure out how to get your business started, it is fun. I started out with the J'Adore Bakery. The bakery was pre-built, I expanded it, stocked the bakery with tons of goodies, and watched the crowds pour in. Your Sims can basically open any type of business they prefer. Be it a toy shop, a floral shop, a beauty shop, or more, the possibilities are endless. Sims earn badges in different areas such as sales and even making robots. As a business owner, you prepare your business for opening day, hire employees, choose their uniforms, assign them jobs, and keep them happy. If you don't allow them to take breaks or pay them what they are worth, they may up and quit on you. I personally have never enjoyed dealing with the mundane tasks Sims must perform daily, such as taking showers, etc. so I admit, I do use money cheats and other user created cheats to keep my Sims motives up. It makes the game enjoyable for me. I have a daugher in college and do not consider myself a gamer, but the Sims games are fun. The graphics are amazing, as with all Sims 2 games. This game is rated teen for crude humor, content, and violence. It is possible to play the game without running into a lot of that if you choose not to deal with it, as in my case. I do not recommend this game for children. Thanks!
