If you play the Original Sims game, you may want to add to that game with a few expansion packs. Livin' Large is the first expansion pack for the Original Sims PC game. This one is packed with lots of goodies. Sure, they gave us more mismatched walls and floors, but with over 125 new items, this was an exciting time in the Sims world.

Livin' Large gives you four additional neighborhoods to populate with your tiny digital people. While I do not care for the tacky Vibro-matic bed and feel it cheapens the game, the addition of the robot, Servo, makes the game so much more enjoyable as he takes over some mundane tasks, allowing Sims more time to get ahead in the world.

New careers such as paranormal and slacker, appeal to the younger crowd and were not exactly my cup of tea, but they did give us the journalist career. And while I could do without the tragic clown, the Grim Reaper was an interesting addition to the game.

The chemistry set is fun for everyone. The crystal ball and genie are nice additions as well, but I was not interested in them. What I detest about Livin' Large is the addition of cockroaches to the game! Luckily, there are cheats to eliminate that problem.

I have always felt Sims games focus too much on the bathroom and found it quite monotonous. I do not recommend any Sims games for children. They are rated teen and I think that is a stretch. I actually do not recommend anyone get involved with these games. There is a whole world out there to explore. Life is short! Don't get hooked! Thanks!
