When Sin City came out in the theatres it was like a revolution to me. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen, only Scarface and American History X is ranked higher in my personal list. I'm not to fond of new movies because most of them are just full of garbage and they show us nothing new, but when I first saw Sin City it was such a unique movie with an incredible plot. The film is divided in three different stories and all of them are so well written. The film is set in the fictional city of Basin City. A corrupted city.

Sin City is based on a comic book created by Frank Miller and I must say that this movie really gives you comic book vibes. Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller and special guest director Quentin Tarantio really created a masterpiece and this film will be remembered in the future. Most of the film is set in black and white but that's one of the positive things about this movie. Sin City wouln't be as great as it is today if it was set in color.

Now let's move on to the blu-ray edition. For almost 25 dollars you can own a copy of one of the best movies ever made and with extraordinary quality. I mean, when I saw Sin City for the first time in Blu-ray I almost cried because it was so detailed and so perfect. The extra material was great. Two versions of the film; first version which is 124 minutes long and the second version and the extended version which is 147 minutes. There's a lot of extra material such as a glimpse on Quentin Tarantinos time on the set, commentaries and a lot more. This is truly an outstanding movie and a spectacular Blu-ray.
