This small mug was made in England. It is made of fine bone china. I always thought of china as a more thin, dainty material, but this feels really strong and sturdy. Surprisingly, this has no cracks or chips in it anywhere! I think I have had it for at least 2 years. That's pretty impressive with the Jenga-type structures I build in my sink with dishes and such waiting to go in the dishwasher.
Speaking of, this cup is dishwasher-safe. I have put it in there countless times. The colors have not faded. They are still really brilliant. It's also microwave-safe. No problems there either.
The measurements are approximately four inches high and three inches across the rim.
I like the cup's handle. I find it particularly distinctive. The design of the handle appears to be done in Warwick Style.
I love the scene on here. There are four cute cats in a beautiful garden with butterflies aflutter. One is sleeping; one looks about ready to pounce; one looks inquisitive and one looks off into the distance. I wonder what she sees?
This was a gift to me, but I searched a bit online and I saw some sellers selling this for around $24.00.
