I have a narrow foot, especially a narrow heel, and many years of working outdoors in work boots makes my foot hard to fit, and hard to please. I can't wear heels, and most slip-on shoes slip right off. I especially have trouble finding cute shoes, so I was delighted to find a shoe that is both cute and comfortable, and stays on my foot.

Sasha (Bikers) are one of the shoes in Skechers Active Line; they are billed as biking shoes, but most customer reviews on ShoeBuy, where I found them, say they use them anywhere. They have an elastic bungee closure for a snug fit -- they stay on! -- so no tying is required. The upper is made of suede and mesh, with a ribbon decoration. The sole is low-profile and quite comfortable. They come in three different colors: taupe, black, and blue. I chose the taupe, although to me it looks more like a light sage green, and the pink ribbons add a feminine touch.

Like most shoes I've found, I can't wear these all day, or for serious walking. There just isn't enough arch support for my foot; I'm sure, though, that many people could wear these comfortably for longer than I do. The price is moderate; it's not a "Payless" shoe price, but this is a better quality shoe with a better fit. The old adage that if your feet aren't comfortable, none of you is, is absolutely true, and for under $60 I find them a bargain. (Most shoes that are comfortable on my picky foot cost over $100; I don't have as many shoes as a lot of women do!)

These are a great "kick-around" shoe for every day, and a fun shoe to wear. And if you buy at Shoebuy.com, you pay no tax, no shipping, and no return shipping if they don't fit. It doesn't get much better than that.
