Summer is finally gone and so is the day of my 19 month old son wearing his sandals. A couple of weeks ago, I knew that a cold spell was on its way so I went searching for sneakers for my little boy. I didn't want to spend too much because I knew that he would only wear them for this season, if even that long. I also wanted something dark in color because white shoes don't look good after wearing them for a few days. I had looked at several stores and couldn't find anything I wanted. I decided to try Shoe Carnival and I'm so happy I did. I found such great shoes for my little boy.
The Skecher's High Energy Sneaker is Navy blue with some light blue and orange. They came with two sets of laces, one navy set and one white set. I choose to use the navy set since white is so hard to keep clean, especially with an adventurous little boy. The bottom of the sneaker is non-marking, which is great since toddlers don't always pick their feet up completly when they walk. I personally can't tell you if they are comfy or not and my son can't tell me yet. But he would definitly let me know if he didn't like them. I had tried on some other sneakers and he fussed when he walked around in them. However, he doesn't complain when I put the Skechers on him and he is always bringing them to me to put them on him, so I guess they are comfy!
I am really pleased with my purchase. The skechers are cute and appear to be made very well. They are dark in color so they won't look old and worn in a couple of weeks. An added benefit, they didn't cost a lot!
