Since I get a job promotion early last month, I began planning to buy a new notebook to support my job which will become increasingly mobile. After considering a number of reasons such as price, design, device and its features, I finally decided to buy Lenovo IdeaPad U206 series.

One that makes me interested in the U206 Series is its simple but still looks solid and elegant design. The size of this notebook is about half inches thick and it’s classified as slim notebook. But the magnesium alloy frame makes it look remains strong. Its weight was quite light, less than 1.5 kg and really ideal for highly mobile workers like me.

Touchpad sensitivity of glass-coated anti-scratch and already supports multi-touch on U206 Series is also extremely sensitive, coupled with a soft cushion for the palm increasingly made them more comfortable to use work though in a long time. The hinge mechanism was also good enough so that enough light to open it even if only with one hand.

Technology hardware on Ideapad U206 Series is relatively new. The i5 Core Processor technology, 4GB of DDR3 memory, and 500GB SATA hard drive. 12.5-inch screen size also produces a fairly clear picture for me. The audio device equipped with Dolby Advanced Audio high-end JBL surround-sound speakers that sound quality is clear enough to spoil my ears. T this notebook is also equipped with 5-in-1 media card reader, USB port, Ethernet port, HDMI-out port and a headphone jack. There also wireless technologies like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 on it which really helped me in surfing the Internet or exchanging data with my colleagues.

In addition to the above spec is quite reliable, this U206Series have extra technology such as water-resistant keyboard, Active Protector system to recognize any vibration and will automatically pause the process of storing data when its vibrate to keep the file that was recorded is not corrupt. There was also a technological features ambient light censor, which automatically adjusts the light on the display with the lighting in the room.

The only drawbacks to this notebook that I found so far is the left and right-click buttons under the touchpad which feels a bit fragile when pressed, although this is not too disruptive to my work.

I became increasingly convinced that my choice to buy this Ideapad U206 Series is correct. Therefore I highly recommend this notebook worth about $ 900 to you.
