Smooth away is a supposed to be a hair removal product that works by you physically buffing away the hair. I'm sorry for those who love this product, but it never worked for me at all. I have a hair on the chin, upper lip and throat that is definitely not something any women should have and well I thought to try this because of all of the positive remarks the infomercials made. Sure, they said it would exfoliate the skin, but with me, it just so happened that I got a nice rug burn on my chin and that was from after using their product.

Not a plus there, it did leave my skin softer than normal but as I said, it took away layers of not dead skin in the process and after using the product in the circular motion clockwise and then counter clockwise, I still had the unsightly hair upon my chin, upper lip and throat.

I thought to give another try a couple of weeks later with the product once more, but this time on my legs, it still didn't remove the hair from there and believe me, I went through a couple of pads just trying to get the hair away from there. I still have my husband asking why I was bleeding after going through this process.

I would never put this product anywhere near any of my sensitive areas and that includes the bikini and underarms for me because the pads were very harsh on my skin. I felt the pulling and tugging and it scraping across the skin on my chin and on my legs. All of this work was not worth at trying to have decent look legs and no hair on the facial area. Me, I think I'll just stick to my regular routine of bleaching the hair on my face and shaving my legs, much safer than having open sores from using this product.
