Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, seeing the commercials and magazine advertisements with her and Cover Girl's newest line of products, the Natureluxe collection, made me consider buying some, even though I don't own much make up.

I've bought three total of the Natureluxe Gloss Balm, in the colours Marble, Hibiscus, and Clay. Marble is bright pink in the container, and clear when applied. Hibiscus is a darker pink, and Clay is a sheer light brown, and well.. Clay coloured!

To start, the gloss balm comes in a cute container. It has a very natural look, light green and clear, and very minimal, with no other packaging. I do like the container, but their were no seals on it, which I think would have been better. A lot of people, I've noticed, tested out the products in stores, and some you can tell have been used a lot, which in my opinion isn't very sanitary. I think they should have added one of those clear, plastic seals that you tear along the indents to open. Still would have a minimal look, and at the same time would prevent many people from testing out the products (and not just the tester containers).

Now for the actual product - I love it! The gloss balm goes on really smooth, which is always a plus. You can easily apply it without having to have a mirror. The colour is there and noticeable, but if you were to accidentally go outside of your lip it wouldn't be a big deal. Speaking of colours, Cover Girl has created a large assortment of them for this collection, everyone could definitely find something that will suit them. This gloss balm is also super light - it feels like you're wearing chapstick, if you even feel it at all. It has a nice, light scent, though some I've found smell more "lipsticky" than others (like Clay, though Marble smells nice). While I don't have anything to compare it to, in my opinion the gloss balm lasts long enough. I can usually still see the coloured ones (Hibiscus and Clay) a few hours after applying them, and my lips still feel smooth from doing so. Though reapplying is never a problem, since it's quick, easy, and mess/accident-free!

Overall, I really like the products in the Natureluxe collection by Cover Girl, and most likely would purchase another in the future (I have my eye on Sandstone, which is a lighter pink, next!)
