This is a great little palette. The cheek gel in it, I think of as more as a cream. I don't personally think that it has a gel consistency. It's very smooth and moisturizing. In fact, it's what convinced me that I should really be using cream blushes! I used to use powder ones because they were the ones I was most familiar with. I feared the cream ones would break me out. I used to avoid the powder blushers for the same reason, but started using them because I've been drawn to them while shopping. When I use the cream blush, just a couple of swipes of it applies sheer, but pigmented color to my cheeks. This product is easy to blend.
The compact also has two lip glosses. They are iridescent and mauve-toned.They are unflavored and a thicker style of gloss. They aren't sticky though. They have a slight smell. It isn't an unpleasant smell. I don't know how to explain the smell either. I'm not going to call it a "makeup smell" because that's a little vague. All I know is, is that it's there. It doesn't bother me though, and I'm sensitive to such things.
The color I have this in is Capella. I was taken a back at first at how purplish the blush was in the palette. I thought that it couldn't possibly be wearable, but it somehow looks so good on me! I have fair skin and it looks pinkish on me, not so purply.
Fragrance/Oil-free got a 2/5 because there was a slight scent with the lip gloss and there were some oil products in the blush: petrolatum, mineral oil and castor seed oil (Cheek Color).
