This is another enjoyable book in the Flower Shop Mysteries by Kate Collins.
In this story, Abby Knight, who runs a flower shop by the name of Bloomers, is making a delivery of a single rose to a professor she really dislikes. Abby dropped out of law school before deciding to buy Bloomers, and the professor who is getting this flower delivery is someone she has had nothing but problems with in the past. Her delivery is not well received, and to make matters worse, Abby stumbles over the dead body of another professor she didn't get along with. Since Abby is the one to find the body, and since the murder weapon has her fingerprints on it, she is suspect number one. Now Abby not only has to prove her innocence, she also has to find the real killer.
Snipped in the Bud was very entertaining and witty. I enjoy the characters, especially headstrong Abby, who can't keep out of trouble no matter what. I also enjoy reading about her flower shop and the beautiful arrangements that she and her employees come up with. The Flower Shop Mystery series has been a very interesting series for me, I've read about four of the books now and am looking forward to reading more. Snipped in the Bud kept me turning pages for the sheer fun of it.
