My mom bought this for me for my birthday. I had seen it when we were in the store together and remarked at how pretty it was. I remember I held it up to my neck and looked in the mirror. It looked a little light on me because of my skintone (Pale) and what I was wearing (A sporty light grey tee shirt that clashed with it). I didn't want to buy it that day for myself because I knew I had necklaces at home. I don't like buying too many things that I already have, unless we're talking bags here!
When I received this, I was really pleased. It was just as beautiful as I remembered. There are multi-colored beads on this and in between them are silver findings. The bead colors are as follows: pink, milky but clear, white, tan with mother-of-peal opalescence and black. The beads vary in shape. The black beads are tiny seed beads. The white and pink are the same size and resemble pearls. The milky colored beads are oblong ovals. The iridescent tan beads are an irregular shape similar to an uneven triangle.
This is really long, so I make it shorter by doubling the chain. That way, it reaches just above the center of my chest. Otherwise, if the whole length was worn, it would fall down to hips (Wow!). The length of the necklace is 23" when it is not doubled. The original price of the necklace was $16.00. My mom paid $7.20 because all the jewelry sold at the Bass Outlet is 50% off. She got a further discount because she has one of those little "store saving cards" from the brand (Kind of like a CVS card).
