This is my new coat for fall and early winter. Ooh, it's so nice! It's a bit too light for the heavy, freezing cold winters in the Northeast, but it should be absolutely perfect for autumn when it's chilly.
The color this comes in is called "chocolate." The jacket is completely reversible. One side is a rich brown hue. The other side is a camel shade. Personally, I like it best when the brown is on the outside. The beige fabric is all furry (Made with faux fur), soft and feels so comfy; I like it to be close to my body. The chocolatey colored fabric feels like nylon, so I rather that side face the elements. The hang tag on this says it is made with Radiance fabric which has a coating that is resistant against water and wind. It is supposed to be quite durable. I think that material is on the exterior of the coat (The darker color).
It has a nice, generously sized, lined hood. I always prefer hooded coats to protect my ears and head from the wind, rain, etc. The closure on the jacket is a sturdy zipper with snaps along it. Both of the sides have pockets. Although on the cocoa side, there is one zippered pocket and one with velcro on each side. The khaki side only has one pocket on each side and they have no closure. Your hand just slips into it.
The coat is machine washable which is something I always appreciate. It cost $24.99 from TJ Maxx. The MSRP is $90.00.
