After giving birth to my firstborn, shrinking my belly has been my major concern. First of all, between the times I was pregnant I have been eating a lot. And I say more than what is recommended. And by the time I reached my full semester I couldn't get down dieting anymore.
Hence, four months after delivery my belly hasn't gone back to my pre-pregnancy state. Some people I know who've given birth says I should have worn a belly binder since I didn't go through ceasarian section. Some says my belly would just shrink away and that I'd just have to give it a little more time.
Unfortunately, I couldn't wait that long because by the time I've gone back to work some of my dress were pretty figure-hugging. And it looks like I'm still 3 months pregnant when I wear them. That's when I decided to look for a belly binder I could wear to work to hide my bulging belly.
I found this piece by Sogo and decided to try it out. First I tried their medium size which surprisingly appeared a little big for me. The sale girl pulled out the smaller size and there's still more room, so she held out the x-small size which apparently looked better. Plus, the fit is just so comfortable that it doesn't suffocate me at all.
The fabric is nice, made up of 65% polyester. Which makes it feel like it's just part of your body. It's definitely figure-hugging too, as it gives side contours. Another thing I like about it is that it's very easy to wear. The hooks on the back is sewn well that it doesn't give you worries of getting unhooked anytime while you're in the middle of a busy day. Indeed, a very nice and comfortable item.
