My teeth, while technically healthy, are not that esthetically pleasing. First, they are naturally not very white - after many tooth whitening product trials I looked at pictures of me as a child and my teeth weren't white before I started drinking coffee and soda, so other than removing stains that occur now, Second, I have big natural spaces between that I am always concerned about getting food or candy stuck in. I need to keep them as clean and shiny as possible to get them as white as they can get short of a professional whitening procedure. Enter the Sonicare toothbrush. My teeth really feel very clean, like I keep running my tongue over them clean, like I just got them professionally cleaned at the dentist kind of clean, they feel clean when I wake up in the morning and they still feel pretty clean even after I eat. This toothbrush leaves my teeth looking shiny, which is about the best I can hope for. The toothbrush is gentle on my teeth, although it is too rough for brushing the tongue. My only dislike is the price, but since the results are so good, I don't really mind that. The toothbrush heads need to be replaced about every six months, which is another investment of about $25.
