This camera is one of the most worthwhile electronics i have purchased this year. The Sony A350 is the bigger brother to the more famous A100 and A200 SlR cameras. Like the A300 the focus speed has been made 1.7 times faster which makes it easier and faster to take shots.

The A350 has a 2.7 inch adjustable screen on the back with a resolution of 230, 000 pixels which makes it easy to see even in sun light.

Like the other Alpha models sony makes, the A350 also has built in "steadyshot" which means no matter what lens you buy, you wont be compramising on picture quality if it doesnt have steady shot in it.

The A350 has been upped to 14.2 megapicels from 10 megapicels, which is what the A300 has. This makes for noticably better picture quality and sharper shots.

The A350 has many built in features such as manual focus on the camera instead of the lens, and full manual control over aperture and exposure time. It also gives many preset functions for things like sunsets, night time shots and landscapes.

I bought the camera with the standard 18-70mm lens which is fantastic. It gives you a great range of movement for any keen photographer. Although there are many lenses which you can buy to add onto it.

Shortly after purchasing the camera I also noticed that old Minolta Slr Camera lenses fit on it, which is handy if you have and old lens lying around.

Overall this camera gives great shots and is brilliant for the amateur phtographer. The only downside is the size. But you can buy many handy bags for it which make carrying it easier. This is why i rate it 4.5/5
