I got a friend who came from abroad and he offered me his slightly used PSP2000. My kids already have Play Station 2 and Nintendo DS Lite but my son is really eager to have a PSP for him. He saw it from his cousin whose mother is working in Canada. The family made several canvasses on this unit and indeed it will gonna be quite expensive to deal with. But I don't want my son to be disappointed and thanks God to this friend of mine to the rescue.
From the almost 10, 000 pesos (unit alone) value of it I only got it from my friend at 5, 000 pesos with the memory and loaded with some games. I know PSP is kind of hot because of its wide screen facility unlike other handheld units plus other features like I can load music videos, watch movies, and more. I am appreciative of its wide LCD screen coz my kids can play with it conveniently. When it comes to games, nothing compares to the wide selection of it that I can download from the internet. I can easily remove and place games on its memory in my computer as long as the memory is not contaminated. Once fully charge, the speakers sound good even without an earphone/headphone to exempt my kids' ears from too much noise. Also my kids enjoy playing with their cousins online at home. I like the black color of it and the hand controls are manageable.
My kids now will not get bored traveling long distance having this PSP2000. This is very helpful to my wife because it keeps our son busy when they need to attend our daughter's school programs. Although its LCD screen is not as improved as the PSP3000, the unit is fine with us for whatever it has for now.
