I bought this Sony Walkman AM/FM radio so I could listen to the radio while in the bathroom or taking a jog. The radio is mainly a yellow color and it features a digital screen and has five separate buttons to preset five different radio stations on both AM and FM Frequencies. This allows quick switching to your favorite radio stations. The radio displays the time when it is off, and the radio includes a hold switch, an FM sensitivity switch, and a volume wheel. The radio can output sound at a very large volume and sometimes the wheel can get turned up or down when it is inside your pocket. I've had a couple of times where the wheel would turn up or down by itself and it would be very annoying to reach in and adjust the volume. Also, sometime when I intend to turn the volume down all the way, I spin the wheel the wrong way and I end up having radio blasting into my ear. The sound quality is average at best, but that is to be expected from a small radio player. I think Sony designed this radio with a very sporty look and it definitely does a great job in providing simple interface. The signal is very strong for its size and it is also very durable in my opinion. I've had water splashed on it a couple of times and its been fine. When off, the radio displays the time. The radio is very easy to use and program, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, digital radio.
