So a few years back I was asked to head with a good friend of mine to Splash Lagoon located in Pennsylvania. When we arrived, the place looked incredible from the outside, and there were over five hotels located within 50 feet of the premisice. Our hotel experience was great, as we stayed in the Mariot, but let's get on to the Waterpark itself.
To start off, the waterslides. In Splash Lagoon, there are about five waterslides that aren't kid ones. All ranging from single tube, double tube, and no tube. The slides are all a huge blast, and they are surely worth the wait. They're all decorated in nifty colors, and they're also well built. The lifeguards around are mostly friendly except for a few of the younger ones, and there is a decent amount of choice to eat. But of course, all of the food is overpriced, and you're better off heading to one of the nearby restaurants a few miles within Splash Lagoon. The lines are a bit ridiculous, but that should be expected knowing that's what you get at all resorts. There are no fastpasses for cutting people in line, so everyone has to wait there turn.
After a few days, sadly, Splash Lagoon really starts to lose it's fun. In my opinion there just honestly isn't enough things to do. Yeah there is an arcade with plenty of games, but that also gets old too. I highly suggest no longer than 2-3 days at the park, any longer would be a nightmare. Overall, Splash Lagoon is a great trip for the family with kids, and they even do birthday parties too. Go ahead and check it out, I'm sure you'll like it for a few days.
