I first came to know about sport stacking just this year when a fellow Filipino (or Fil-Am) became the world champion in a Speed Stacking competition. I thought it was interesting and I decided to buy a set for my own. Sport stacking is an exciting new sport where you up stack and down stack 12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences as fast as you can.
Just yesterday I got a hand on one set of speed stacks from a local mall. At around $17.00, my parents thought it was too expensive. But I knew it was all worth every penny for buying it. I will learn a new sport and I can share it with my brothers and sisters. The unit I bought is a simple set containing twelve (12) Speed Stacks competition cups, one sport carrying bag and a sport stacking instructions manual. According to the packaging, the cups are the approved competition cups by the World Sport Stacking Competition. This assures me that the cups will not give me any disappointment of any sort. I will enjoy this game for sure.
Using the instruction manual, my sister and I learned the basics of the game and only after an hour of practice we are enjoying the game. We’re playing with a timer just a few hours after learning it. I love this new game I learned and I aim to meet the fifteen second mark in the coming days. I also plan to organize a mini-contest were local speed stackers could compete with each other and enjoy the fun of playing this game.
Also, I wanted to buy a complete speed stacking set (which includes a stack mat and a timer) for my own so I could feel all the competitiveness that I will require to maximize this game.
Lapis Recommends: A perfectly new game for the whole family.
