This is the second greatest hits CD for Stevie Nicks, and it is a much more satisfying collection that the previous collection, Timespace.
The disc features 16 tracks, 4 of which are live versions. While the collection is centered around her solo material, it also features a few of her hits from her career with Fleetwood Mac. These include the studio version of Silver Springs along with live versions of Landslide and Rhiannon. The Fleetwood Mac hit Dreams is presented here in its updated version. In this version Stevie supplies a new vocal track with the music performed by Deep Dish. It's an interested and fresh take on a classic song.
The rest of the disc features tracks from all of Stevie's solo albums, except for Street Angel (which is generally considered a low point in her career). Highlights include Stand Back, a live cover of the Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll, and Planets of the Universe.
This collection is a great introduction to Stevie Nicks and is also great for fans due to the inclusion of the live versions of many of her hits.
The CD also comes in a deluxe CD/DVD pack. The DVD features 13 music videos from Stevie's career. Two things make the DVD a must-have for Stevie fans. It features a previously unreleased music video for Stand Back, as well as optional commentary on all of the music video's by Stevie herself. It's great fun to hear her look back at all of the videos, many of which seem extremely outdated and humorous at this point.
All in all this is a great collection.
