I hate putting chemicals on my skin- even moreso my children's skin. But, bug bites in the summertime months are inevidable so I went searching for a natural remedy to soothe them.

StingStop is a insect gel that is infused with citronella. The ingredients are all natural (no steroids or antihistamines), so I have to worry less about what I'm exposing my family to.

The gel comes in a tube, and is a little runny but is very easy to apply. It has a pleasant smell, and is not sticky or greasy. After applying just a dab to a mosquito bite or a bee sting, the afflicted area will begin to feel better immediately. I have to say it doesn't work as well as some of the other remedies I've tried (benadryl cream), but it has always been effective enough for my needs.

The label says you can also use it to soothe fever blisters and cold sores. I haven't tried it for this purpose, but certainly think it would work.

Overall, I would recommend StingStop for you and your family's summertime adventures!
