This movie is a follow-up to the Disney movie, "Lilo and Stitch." I loved the original movie because, well, it was original; a plot line we had never seen before. I am not a huge fan of sequels, and though this isn't exactly a sequel necessarily, it contains the same characters as in Lilo and Stitch.
In this movie, we find that when Dr. Jumba brought Stitch (experiment 626) to Earth, he also brought the first 625 experiments with him as well, and now they are starting to show themselves. Each experiment has its own special powers which cause all sorts of mayhem on the island of Hawaii, where the story is located.
I do like the fact that all of the original voices came back for this movie- one of my pet peeves for sequels is that different actors play the parts, so that made me happy. I must say too, that this movie was fairly entertaining in its own right- it was funny, and quirky like the first, but I just had the feeling like "been there, done that." I just felt like they were stretching things a bit, but I like the imagination in the experiments.
I think kids would like this movie, but parents may become a little bored here. Stitch! The Movie is rated G, and thankfully only runs 64 minutes.
