I received this short-sleeved shirt from a relative about four years ago. I have no clue what she paid for it. It has a very distinctive look to it. I like its neutral, slate color. I could see this dressed up for evening, but I usually wear it during the day with jeans, heels and a nice bag.
It is made out of 70% acetate and 30% silk. It was made in Italy. The fabric has a smooth texture. It has a v-neck and a pricked up Mandarin collar. The shirt has a side zipper. There is pretty seaming on the front from the hem to the chest. The shirt's hem on the front comes up more than it does in the back. That's an interesting detail. I don't own any other shirts that are cut that way. When worn, the front hem's shorter length isn't as obvious as when it is on the hanger. It doesn't expose my midriff or anything. It comes down to my hipbones. The blouse fits me in a roomy, fluttery way. For laundering, it is dry clean only.
I don't think the shirt is true to size. It is marked size 8 and it seems smaller than that. Another issue I noticed is usually the sleeves fit me perfectly fine, but I've noticed if I'm sitting at a table and leaning over a little, the front of the sleeves get tight on my arms. The bottom of the sleeves don't seem flexible at all. When that happens, I just re-adjust them a little and it feels comfortable again.
