I have always been interested in the time of Knights and Lords, Ladies and Kings so when I saw this game out on the market I had to et it. I wasn't keen on paying $29 for it though so I waited till it dropped in price to $19 before making my purchase. I was not disappointed in at all either.
If you have always wanted to be Lord or Lady of you castle then this is defenatly the game for you. You have two game plays to choose from (At War or At peace). If you choose the war mood then you must buid your castle and set your lands to defend against oncoming enemy armies and you can attack your enemies and take over their lands and resources. I like to play the war mode on Kingmaker where you can have multiple eniemies and you try to concure them all.
On Peacemaker mode you can free build a castle without the threat of attack from another army while you are building. This mode is fun to play if you want a relaxed afternoon and just casually build your providence.
In both modes you have to find resources. Wood, Iron, Stone, Food, pitch, ect. You also have to worry about gongs and rats, bears, wolves and your own workers turning into theives and stealing food from your grainery.
